Obviously it'd be better all around if he never had a stroke to begin with but I feel like it's nice to hear his poems and notice the significant improvement in his dictation in each one.

So many people get shit that's impossible to recover from and strokes affect such a vital part of the person so it's just kind of nice to know someone's recovering nicely.

yea. so much.

I'm always so heartened when there's a marked improvement in the clarity of his speech and train of thoughts.

I'm more and more confident that he's going to get back to his true form and that his fantastic mind is not going to be trapped behind language frustration forever etc.

Seen't it happen with someone in my family, everyone thought they were for sure not waking up from the stroke and coma, and it was not a pretty recovery, but they're back and still 100% the same complete pain in my ass and I want that for the world with Matt.
