X-rays were discovered in 1895, it's taken them this long to find it...

This was a CT scan, or even a specialised kind of CT scan. X-rays are involved, but an emulsion plate in 1905 isn't going to get you a "3D mapping".

Although, yes, it's a neglected area of the body in medicine.

It's cause the clitoris isn't attached to a man.

A lot of the recent data about the nerves of the clitoris are from donated tissue from trans men who got theirs removed during bottom surgery, so your statement here isn't exactly true. A lot of the issue is the sheer density of nerves in a very small area that makes it hard to study from cadavers, and there aren't large numbers of people getting them removed to study them that way either.

What's true is that women's health and anatomy takes a back seat to how to keep men's dicks hard. I say this as a cis het man. It's shameful.

So a lot of the data is from clits that were removed from men? I jest. That's actually pretty interesting, and while I take your point about nerve density and complexity, my point at the top stands.

Why do you jest? This is just a factual statement

women are very underrepresented in medical research

Yeah....I wasn't joking.
