It's the thought that counts. Trans people barely even understand gender, mum's boyfriend is trying and that's what matters.

I'm curious if you meant to say non-trans. I'm not saying I disagree, this just isn't a take I see a lot as it currently is written.

I meant it more like "Trans people barely even understand gender (even though they think about it more than most people), how is mum's boyfriend supposed to understand it"
