From what I understand, Varg was a fan of Bathory (even ripped off their song Necromancy) so he probably used the font. It clearly is a Burzum reference because no Bathory albums look like that
All of black metal is massively influenced by Barhory, so no surprise there. Plus Bathory are fucking sick. Bathory, ironically had a lot of influence from anarcho punk bands from the UK, their singer says he based his vocals on the dude from Riot//Clone (I don't hear it), but yeah, Bathory wasn't right wing at all and at least one member was at least very influenced by anarchist music, and you don't usually listen to 80s anarcho punk for musical genius (though it's around here and there)
