I'm surprised they can afford a car, never mind a Plaid.
Model S Plaids are probably not as expensive as you think. They’re even more affordable when you don’t pay taxes nor insurance.
eBay motors sold listings make me think they aren’t getting into a used Model S Plaid for less than around 55k. If they aren’t paying taxes or insurance, they aren’t paying down a loan for the car because the creditor would repossess that shit so fast.
I bet that car is either recently purchased or they’re actually paying their loan considering that you can disable a Tesla with the Vin. It’s one of the most connected cars in the world.
Crypto early adopter who got lucky and wants to avoid paying taxes on his winnings, or troll.
If they want to avoid paying crypto taxes, they should be paying every single other tax, and not making themselves a target for investigation.

sensible law breakers just silently drive a car with bogus license plates and a fake license, and behave better on the roads than 90% of the population so the police has no reason to even notice their existence
