Megathread for Reddit Blackouts and News - Day 2
(beehaw.org)
A nice place to discuss rumors, happenings, innovations, and challenges in the technology sphere. We also welcome discussions on the intersections of technology and society. If it’s technological news or discussion of technology, it probably belongs here.
Remember the overriding ethos on Beehaw: Be(e) Nice. Each user you encounter here is a person, and should be treated with kindness (even if they’re wrong, or use a Linux distro you don’t like). Personal attacks will not be tolerated.

And I can see this back on Lemmy. Fascinating!
I'm pretty sure you could still be banned from Technology@beehaw.org. I wonder how that would show up back on Mastodon?
@CanadaPlus well, I'm going to follow you as my first connection into the world of Lemmy and see how it goes!
I suspect banning will need custom code unless it's built into the activitypub protocol?
It's kinda fascinating. The application is secondary to the people and the content.
I'm not sure if hash tags work on Lemmy but I assume including them here will syndicate this conversation further within mastodon.
