This rule is anti bullying and I guess that’s for the best but I am not happy about it
the_dunk_tank
It's the dunk tank.
This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.
Rule 1: All posts must include links to the subject matter, and no identifying information should be redacted.
Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.
Rule 3: No sectarianism.
Rule 4: TERF/SWERFs Not Welcome
Rule 5: No ableism of any kind (that includes stuff like libt*rd)
Rule 6: Do not post fellow hexbears.
Rule 7: Do not individually target other instances' admins or moderators.
Rule 8: The subject of a post cannot be low hanging fruit, that is comments/posts made by a private person that have low amount of upvotes/likes/views. Comments/Posts made on other instances that are accessible from hexbear are an exception to this. Posts that do not meet this requirement can be posted to !shitreactionariessay@lemmygrad.ml
Rule 9: if you post ironic rage bait im going to make a personal visit to your house to make sure you never make this mistake again
So is like a reddit comment or post with hundreds of upvotes still allowed
Yes

Well I'm going to be a splitter and start c/more_tankie_the_dunk_tank that allows any and all dunks to fight back against this woke hexbear mod overreach ^this^ ^is^ ^a^ ^joke^
Agree with this change.

@mods would my most recent post be disallowed under the new rules? a bit confused and wanna clarify, since i think they are sorta known and i was more criticizing the ideology and idea espoused, but lmk either way!
thanks for the work, we love our mod comrades
Isn't Luke Smith a pretty public figure?
oh no clue, i forgot how i even came across his stuff
Its dunking on a public figure so it would be allowed
"Hexbear is an echo chamber", they say, about the forum with a top-5 most active board dedicated to showcasing outgroup opinions.
Led by authoritarian tankie mods, who hold community discussions about rule changes and fine tune them according to user feedback.
I think this is a great rule. I'm glad to see more active moderation happening.
Can I post my own posts in the dunktank?
No
