I'm already keeping track of the kings and rooks for castling reasons. Remembering whether any of the 16 pawns has moved is too overwhelming and turns IRL chess into a game of who can get away with the other player's bad memory.
Err... Maybe I just missed the joke, but... If the pawn is in its initial position it means it hasn't moved yet.
Yes, you missed the joke. I know pawns can only move in one direction on the Y-axis.
Something about a table made for chess bothers me. IDK why though. It makes sense.

Just looking loosely at the board I can see he's controlling the center in 2 if not all 3 pictures, so he's at least got good fundamentals. Would be fun to know his rank.
I'd like to see some of his games.
