That's really sad. What's worse that Nintendo isn't the only one, apparently it happens a lot in the gaming industry.

I always thought Nintendo had an internal team of translators, at least for their big titles.

They do. But they use external translators too.

BTW the article mentions that their company / agency was mentioned in the credits, just not the individual translators.
