"Sticky nuts is a bit of problem here. It's incredibly hot." - Crofty

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Norris please. McLaren please. Why do you do this to us.

[-] wes@lemmy.world 9 points 2 weeks ago

Finally a good start, still losing places.

[-] Luvs2Spuj@lemmy.world 4 points 2 weeks ago

I was excited about the prospect of Norris P1 Verstappen P7 for the championship. The championship isn't looking so exciting now, but the race should be good between Ferrari and McClaren.

I tip my hat to Ferrari, well done.

I hope they didn't make the same error as Mercedes in Spa...

"Papaya rules" 👀

[-] reddit_sux@lemmy.world 10 points 2 weeks ago

Norris can't end lap 1 from pole in lead.

[-] Microw@lemm.ee 2 points 2 weeks ago

Not much he could have done different today though

[-] alphacyberranger@sh.itjust.works 9 points 2 weeks ago

Poor Yuki... What a miserable weekend.

40% risk of rain it just said 🌧️

[-] blackn1ght@feddit.uk 6 points 2 weeks ago

I take it McLaren haven't talked about driver priorities then.

[-] espentan@lemmy.world 6 points 2 weeks ago

They have, and they've said they're allowed to race, at least until they have a very clear, single, wdc contender.

[-] blackn1ght@feddit.uk 1 points 2 weeks ago

Isn't it absolutely clear going into the race?

[-] Coelacanth@feddit.nu 4 points 2 weeks ago

It is absolutely clear and McLaren are being complete idiots to the detriment of us all.

[-] wurstgulasch3000@lemmy.world 4 points 2 weeks ago

Zak said they have two number one drivers

[-] rodrigodias@mstdn.social 2 points 2 weeks ago

@blackn1ght McLaren has forgotten how to be a champion team @wes

Pro gamer Norris pit entry

[-] Sentau@discuss.tchncs.de 4 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

Why the fuck is rosberg asking stupid questions to Norris¿?

[-] Sentau@discuss.tchncs.de 3 points 2 weeks ago

What a crazy season we are having

[-] Wburbage@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Great race!

[-] wurstgulasch3000@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Hope to see some action! I'm actually hoping red bull have fixed some issues and Max gets to do some overtaking because otherwise it might get a bit boring.

[-] Nighed@sffa.community 3 points 2 weeks ago

They can't make setup changes between quali and the race can they?

[-] wurstgulasch3000@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago
[-] wes@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Seems to be pretty difficult to pass usually but yeah i hope Max (and Perez) can fight their way up a bit.

[-] Coelacanth@feddit.nu 3 points 2 weeks ago

Please tell me Norris managed to break in time for that pitstop and didn't end up with a penalty...

[-] Microw@lemm.ee 2 points 2 weeks ago

Alex Wurz says it was probably exactly to the last allowed point from what it looks like

[-] Damage@slrpnk.net 1 points 2 weeks ago

Rosberg on italian Sky TV said that they actually measure the speed as the average over two lines, the one where he locked up, and the second one more forward

[-] epygots@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

What is happening with the pit stops today? They all seem to be slower

[-] Luvs2Spuj@lemmy.world 9 points 2 weeks ago

The mechanics are suffering from sticky nuts, because it's so hot in Italy. FIA needs to do something for them.

[-] Microw@lemm.ee 2 points 2 weeks ago

Ricciardo indirectly caused Tsunoda's retirement lol

[-] Coelacanth@feddit.nu 2 points 2 weeks ago

Checo? Did he have an accident or did he just use up that second hard tyre in 13 laps?

[-] Nighed@sffa.community 4 points 2 weeks ago

Couldn't one stop, need to leave time to catch up after the second stop

[-] Microw@lemm.ee 1 points 2 weeks ago

Marko just said on Austrian TV that RBR is trying to find a point in the season before upgrades that they can go back to, but it's difficult because some parts aren't compatible with others.
