What if the classroom is located in Ohio?

[-] Fuck_u_spez_@sh.itjust.works 48 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

Then the word Michigan would be banned instead.

One of our senators in Australia missed a few of those in a recent speech.

[-] scrion@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago

Thank you for exposing me to this. I will now hate you forever.

[-] AFC1886VCC@reddthat.com 3 points 2 months ago

That was amazing

[-] taiyang@lemmy.world 21 points 2 months ago

Yes but without sigma how are they going to sum algebraic formulae? How will they express the population standard deviation? How will they determine significance if they can't set an alpha?

Also I guess Ohio might matter if it's a history class or something, who the fuck knows.

I'm pretty sure Ohio wasn't even mentioned in American history class in high school

X and Zero have finally won the war

'Diddy Party'and 'Diddy' being up there likely means some clown argued that 'Diddy Party' was a distinct term.

[-] NigelFrobisher@aussie.zone 1 points 2 months ago

Is that a reference to the allegations against P Diddy?

[-] wizblizz@lemmy.world 15 points 2 months ago

Why are the A's 2's, but not in gyatt?

[-] candybrie@lemmy.world 17 points 2 months ago

Different people writing on the board? Maybe TAs add words or something. The a in "banned" and the email are different too.

[-] Cheradenine@sh.itjust.works 6 points 2 months ago

There is a lot that is odd there. All the t's are the same (and look like +) except in toilet. All but three words start with capital letters. Party uses a similar a to Gyatt but different from Brainrot

[-] Vilian@lemmy.ca 14 points 2 months ago

A yes, banning things for teens, that surely won't back fire

[-] DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social 15 points 2 months ago

It's a college business course on professional communications

[-] AI_toothbrush@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 months ago

The fact that its a business course is so funny

[-] DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social 2 points 2 months ago

I'm sorry to inform you that was just a joke :(

[-] Honytawk@lemmy.zip 11 points 2 months ago

Kids specifically create words to sound indecipherable to adults, so they can talk to each other without their parents or teachers understanding them. This has happened in every single generation.

Banning them will only force them to create new words.

[-] Etterra@lemmy.world 11 points 2 months ago

It's about time somebody tried to dismiss the myth of the existence of Ohio.

[-] ianhclark510@lemmy.blahaj.zone 8 points 2 months ago

I agree, fuck Ohio

[-] NigelFrobisher@aussie.zone 6 points 2 months ago

A bad day for Latin enjoyers.

[-] AI_toothbrush@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 months ago
