Gisèle Pelicot is so strong. She wants the public to see the shameful behavior of these men for what it is. She's working to change the culture of her country. I wonder if anyone will recognize and turn in any of the men who couldn't be identified by the police.
I was horrified reading the headline, they probably should've added that this is something the victim wanted to do.

The judge last month banned the broadcasting of such footage to the public and press on the grounds that the images were "shocking and indecent".
However, he decided to lift the restrictions following calls from Ms Pelicot's lawyers for the trial to be open to the public.
"If these same hearings, through their publicity, help prevent other women from having to go through this, then she will find meaning in her suffering," one of Ms Pelicot's lawyers, Stéphane Babonneau, said.
Yes, it's part of how she's turning from victim to survivor.

Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.
