Especially in comparison to some of the horrors we've seen released on Switch, from Nintendo's own first-party developers, the engine XC3 was built on is pretty damn impressive, for how much it offers on such limited and old hardware.

If they can somehow iterate and improve over that, and reuse it further, that's great news

My dream is that switch 2 somehow bumps the framerate of xenoblade chronicles 3 and BotW/TotK.

If the backwards compatibility will arrive as expected, I imagine that will become a reality

I fully expect Nintendo to flip the switch 2 into switch 1 mode for that backwards compatibility, then charge extra for switch 2 enhanced titles.

It's just the low effort anti-user kind of bullshit I expect from them now.
