Is that New Zealand at the left side of Australia?
It tends to wander
The location of New Zealand is in a superposition that collapses, when observed (i.e. drawn on a map). The crux is that the superposition doesn't just encompasses earth
No that's Newer Zealand
At least they are on the map this time!
Me posting from a country with wild capybaras:
Me posting from a co*ntry with an extremely large stretched and slightly transparent capybara:
I used to live a 10mins walk from wild capybaras, good times
How do you even get the data that says if a country has a specific animal in a zoo?
You look at a map.
I mean, you can probably just color in whatever. It's not like anyone's gonna check.
They put their source in the bottom middle of the image
I like the random stretched capybara in Russia
Ah yes,my favorite country south america excluding chile :>
Little know fact about Chile, the closest country to Chile is New Zealand.
A capybara seems like one of those animals that really wouldn't care about living in a zoo
Ah yes, the famed Siberian Loooooooooong Capybara
People think the Russian steppes are inhabited because of the harsh climate and long distances from everywhere. But new satellite images show the Giant Capybara that dominate the area and destroy any try of human settlement.
There are wild capybaras in Florida

Hmmm, 330-miles to see wild capybaras? Or, cruise over to Louisiana and roll with the nutrias?
Damn, what'd Chile do to piss off the Cappies?
Considering the first time I ever saw one in real life, I was camping and there was a wild family and the campers next to us warned me not to get close to them, I can confirm that they exist in at least a part of the US not in a zoo.
Costa Rica has wild capybaras. I've seen them.
why no have cappy blappies
cringe aha cappy blappies
You’ll never find a Nessie in the zoo.
But what do I do If I can’t afford to move to a country without them? I know the risk of meeting one in green is rare but the outcome is simply to harsh to ignore them.
I can't get over "doesn't" instead of hasn't
doesn't have
Would you say "it hasn't capybaras" or "it doesn't have capybaras"?
I would say capybaren't, but I know this is serious business
I don't time for this.
The capybara tried its best, ok?

Don't be awful Lemmy Guidelines Still Apply.
No direct upload images This is hosted on Lemm.ee- to post images, you must use an image upload service like Imgur to post maps.

Live and let die Meme trends happen, so please don't message mods asking to take down maps that are repetitive to a bit.
Reposts Vs. Covers Not all reposts are evil- if someone posts something that has been done years ago, it serves to bring old memes to the new users. I call these meme covers. However it can be done in excess which makes it a repost and spam. Mods will determine if a post is a cover or a repost.
No impersonating mods I can't believe I had to make this rule.
No harassing mods on an appeal We can talk it out, and we will be acting in good faith when making decisions. If you disagree with a removal, you are free to message for clarification or to appeal by giving some added context.
Bans Bans will be set to a maximum of 365 days for humans, and a minimum of 365 years for bots. I believe people can change, so if you are banned for good reason, do know that it is not permanent, it is just a way to say "take time to grow and come back when you are ready".
