ok, so mount a projector that throws the image onto the ceiling and lay flat on a bed, face up to game.

i've thought about this before and there's a non-zero chance i will attempt it.

my concern isn't that it will be stupid and a waste of time. my concern is that it will change the way i do everything and make me a social pariah for adopting it.

I don’t think lying around all day is very healthy for you either, and if you don’t move you will still get bedsores. I also don’t think it’s very ergonomic to look up at the ceiling and have your hands awkwardly placed on your keyboard and mouse without any rest or flat surface

already, the obvious genius of this solution is being ostracized.

No, no, no, we're just saying it would be a good idea to open up your floor plan to be 75% bedroom so that you have more ceiling to look at.

Just have a tilt floor. If you lie down and rotate your whole home by 90 degrees at regular intervals, you should be fine.

have your hands awkwardly

I would imagine in this setup you would use a controller

[–] Z_Poster365@hexbear.net 24 points 3 months ago (1 children)

oh i didn't realize we were talking with a casual

[–] Orcocracy@hexbear.net 8 points 3 months ago

Yeah if you're really hardcore you use a trackball in one hand and a Wacom pen & tablet in the other, none of that fake controller or mouse and keyboard shit for casuals

Tell that to the clairvoyants in minority report.

I do it more for movies and stuff in my bedroom and gotta say, it kinda rules. I also keep the wall across from my bed blank so i can sit up and then when I wanna lay down I just tilt the thingy

Fucking hell you’re living in the future.

You won't regret it!

My bed is very close to the ceiling and I have a tablet mounted in the perfect spot 2 feet from my face so I can lay in bed and watch TV or play games through steam link.

Hi I'd like to submit 12 hours at a lab bench that isn't height adjustable with an autopipetter to the list of exhibits please.

Gamers foolishly rejected the Kinect for trying to save them from all of this smuglord

[–] Xavienth@lemmygrad.ml 11 points 3 months ago

Kinectimals was the bomb

[–] Aabbcc@lemm.ee 9 points 3 months ago

I saw a future where I had to use Kinect to fill out spreadsheets and I had to reject it
