THE standard for mechanical keyboard and switches.

I think they lost the lead to an extent when the ecosystem exploded.

They don't have anything comparable to Kailh's click-bar or Gateron's click-leaf switches.

We (me and my SO) use Cherry Stream keyboard wired. They are excellent keyboards.
https://www.cherry.de/en-us/product/stream-keyboard
It's a full keyboard with numeric keypad, but relatively compact, and it has a straight front and sides so it can stand if you need your desktop space for something else, like drawing or soldering.

We use it with a Steelseries Rival 3 mouse, which is a Danish company.

This is a very accurate mouse with good switches for the buttons. Ii is also very durable in our experience. Way better than older Roccat Kone. Which used the wrong switches for the voltage, so they degraded 10 times faster than they should. ๐Ÿ˜ก

We prefer wired, because it always works 100%, I mean like ALWAYS! No bullshit like charging or switching batteries, or recovering signal.

Both however are made in China, it would be nice with good alternatives that are made in Europe.

I also have a Corsair Gaming RGB K 95 with mechanical Cherry keys (brown). I do NOT like those mechanical keys, they are noisy and annoying, I even bought the most quiet one, and they are imprecise and occasionally cause double key presses. Worst keyboard I ever bought, and the most expensive!!

Cherry scissor keys are precise quiet and low profile, and they are cheaper too.
But Cherry has an extremely wide range of keyboards with different types of switches, so everybody should be able to find something they like.

Looks like good stuff and I am in need of a new mouse mine has lost the second key now.

Does anyone have any experience with cherry mice? Also even if not, how are your experiences with light/ultralight mice? I've always used rather heavy mice before (weighted them down to the maximum)

I bought a cheap one, MC 1000, and I had no idea it's supposed to be a good brand. It matched my expectations and I replaced it after a bit more than a year when the teflon pads have worn off and it became loud. But it costed like 4โ‚ฌ i believe.

Oh yes, I own 2 Cherry keyboards, good stuff.
