Sorry about work, I definitely feel you. The activist groups that she was in contact with have mostly disbanded so I think so, she's looking for some kind of guidance. She mostly stays on reddit and she wasn't receptive to making an account here. Thank you Kristina, I greatly appreciate it.
The fact they disbanded after USAID shut down seems so sus, like they didnt even keep open a free group chat or anything? Shes looking for an activist org to join, or is she looking for friends?
It seems that way, she was helping organize the Transgender Visibility march with Transforma and it was shuttered this year due to funding. The Skopje Queer Center told her that due to funding cuts that they were no longer able to offer the services she was using.
What she sent me this morning was: "If possible, ask her if she knows any trans people from here, or groups of trans people, or perhaps small unknown political groups of queer people, nowadays we are no longer able to rely on the organizations and have to rely on ourselves, but if we fail to organize and make friends then we're all pretty much alone. :("
