I went to pick up one of these yesterday actually, and the local store that usually carries them was out of stock. Guess I know why now.

I'm just manually installing tmr sensors in some cheap powerA controllers in the meantime.

They targeted gamers. Gamers!

I don't know how price is/will be for USAians, but if anyone wants an alternative, look into Flydigi controllers. I imported one from China for less money than a regular PS5/Xbox gamepad and it's the best controller I've ever owned.

I might have to grab the Pro 2 when I get paid. I just picked up the Anbernic controller a few months back but that nostalgia hit with a PSX and SNES hybrid has always caught my eye.

I have a Pro 2. It's the best controller I've ever used. It's so thoughtfully designed, right down to being able to slide open the rechargeable battery cover and use 2 AA batteries instead in a pinch.

What is the battery life on it? My Switch Pro lasts forever but I also have a PS5 and the Anbernic and they seem to die in like 20 hours.

I'm not sure, maybe 10 hours? 15? I've never kept track. It can also work while simultaneously charging by USB-C from a wall plug or a power bank. That's good enough for my needs, either at home or while travelling. I'm just happy to have a hall-effect cross-platform gamepad that's super-comfortable.

My only complaint is that it can't wake up a sleeping Switch. But it's no big deal to keep a Nintendo-blessed controller on the coffee table for that.

15 isn't bad. I don't really over go over 2 hours in a single session so maybe I'm just being spoiled lol.

And yeah the PS5 one also works while charging. That's a nice feature.

Aside from their controllers, the bluetooth adaptors for classic consoles are also very nice. I find that a lot of classic console controllers cramp my hands, so I'm very happy to use a Pro 2 or a dualshock controller with my old consoles.
