I haven't tried vanilla but I've heard it's good.

Cherry is the fucking GOAT

Had a raspberry cane sugar one at Niagara falls that was pretty good.

Still am looking to try the Quebec maple syrup coke someday.

They have Cherry Vanilla Coke now, and it is glorious.

[–] Living_Dead@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago (1 children)

The Orange creamsicle flavor they released in spring was my favourite so far.

[–] ZoopZeZoop@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago (3 children)

I haven't, but I don't care for orange creamsicle popsicles anymore (used to love them). I'm assuming you won't like it if you don't care for orange creamsicle popsicles. Is that accurate?

[–] ouRKaoS@lemmy.today 3 points 1 month ago

I love orange creamsicles, but didn't like the Coke... I think it was the cream flavor that was weird; I get lemon or lime flavor from the freestyle machines pretty often, so the citrus flavor is good.

[–] Living_Dead@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

I would say that's accurate. I found it added a little of that creamy flavor and a little orange zest. Not what I wanted for every drink but unique enough it was interesting.

I’m assuming you won’t like it if you don’t care for orange creamsicle popsicles.

It is exactly orange creamscicle popsicles, and so strong that you can drink the whole bottle, refill it with regular Coke, and it will still taste strongly of creamsicle.

I used to like cherry, but you just cant down 12 cans of cherry coke the way you can the OG.

[–] epicstove@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 month ago

I prefer to live past 60 lol.

[–] Machinist@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

LPT. If you ever get the chance to go to a Waffle House: order a Cherry Coke and ask for a double shot of cherry.

It turns into CHERRY coke and is even better.

[–] Talaraine@fedia.io 25 points 1 month ago (2 children)

I'll die on the Cherry Coke Hill.

[–] alquicksilver@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

A few years back, they changed it to "feisty cherry" for a bit. That was, hands down, the worst soda I've ever tasted in my life. Why they did it, I don't know, but it was really hard to find the normal cherry for a while.

The Orange Cream Coke is pretty good.

But if it comes down to that or Cherry-Vanilla, the orange gets the noose. I'm a slut for cherry-vanilla.

[–] rumba@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 month ago

They ran cherry diet in my area for a while, it was so f'ing good. then they stopped. I went on vacation to Florida and it was everywhere. region locking sucks :)

[–] jballs@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

The Orange Cream Coke is pretty good.

Really? I've been too wary to try it. I love orange creamcicles and I love Coke. But that just sounds like a super weird combo.

[–] limelight79@lemm.ee 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I tried it and didn't like it, but obviously that's just a personal opinion - several other people in this thread have said it's good. I like Coke and I like orange cream soda, but the two together just didn't work for me.

I'm team Vanilla Coke. I hated that during the pandemic I usually couldn't get it; and even now, the grocery store might only have one or two 12-packs in stock when we need it. But cherry (and cherry vanilla) is also pretty good, and I like to mix it up sometimes.

[–] jballs@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Lol I'm in the same boat. I do a lot of grocery store curbside pickup, so I don't know what their stock levels are when I place my order. I always specify Vanilla Coke, and whenever it's not filled I'm a little sad.

[–] LMurch@thelemmy.club 12 points 1 month ago (2 children)

It was kinda gross and reminded me of a cleaning fluid, but I haven't had Lime Coke for a while. I could go for one of those right now (and might instantly regret it, but, nostalgia...).

[–] theUwUhugger@lemmy.world 8 points 1 month ago (2 children)

I remember the first time I had the vanilla flavor

It was early june in high school when I saw a patch of white lilies that started opening. Those used to be my grandmas favorite, she passed that year… So with semi-teary eyes I checked my wallet and I remember just having enough pocket money for a can of coke (my folks were very strict about soda, but gran had a coke addiction)! So I went to the corner store, I must have been very wistful as I didn’t notice that the coke was flavored. Aaand I threw that shit out, it was fucking disgusting!

Coke with lime was my favorite... That's still my go-to at the Freestyle machines.

[–] JackbyDev@programming.dev 10 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I like the flavors, fuck off!

[–] Stamets@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)
[–] JackbyDev@programming.dev 4 points 1 month ago

COVID was rough because they stopped making all the quirky stuff. Slowly nature healed and now things like Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper Zero are back.

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 6 points 1 month ago

The last new flavor I tried was the orange cream one and that was the best flavor of Coke I've ever had, ever. I want it to be a regular thing.

[–] Rentlar@lemmy.ca 5 points 1 month ago (1 children)

If the company could stop making new Coke flavours then killing off popular ones more often than Netflix series or Google chat apps, it would be appreciated.

Can I buy a gram of cocaine and pour it into soda?

[–] RedFrank24@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago (3 children)

I want Coke to do a mango flavor. Pepsi do a mango flavor Pepsi Max and it's delicious. The problem is that over the past year or so, Pepsi changed something in the recipe and now whenever I drink it, I get migraines and dizzy spells. Coke doesn't, but they only have the lemon flavor near me and that's not as nice as the mango Pepsi.

[–] Stamets@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

They have one. At least, I've had one. Called Twisted Mango from what I remember.

[–] RedFrank24@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I don't know if they sell that in the UK. Every flavored coke and pepsi I've seen here has been "With Lemon" or "With Peach" or "With Mango". They didn't give it a specific name. The same with the Coke Peach you get in Japan which is delicious and I'm upset I can't find it being sold here.

[–] Corkyskog@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago

You can't even find the same flavors in the same country, it's all about markets and bottlers.

[–] chiliedogg@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

There's an Orange Cream flavor now that I actually like a lot.

[–] rumba@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 month ago

It's the only thing I get from them now. I always made that as a flavor in the freestyle machines.

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Coke has a flavor called Twisted Mango. I haven't tried it nor seen it bottled anywhere, but I bet those touchscreen dispenser machines at some restaurants would have it.

[–] Melatonin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 1 month ago

I'm all about the flavors.

[–] capuccino@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

In my country I do know if someone is a chudjak if base their entire personality on liking Dr. Pepper.

[–] kryptonianCodeMonkey@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)
[–] SharkAttak@kbin.melroy.org 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Yeah, why not make flavoured cocaine?

[–] kryptonianCodeMonkey@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Be the change you want to see in the world. Call me when you start selling pumpkin spice cocaine. I'm a basic bitch.

The US version would have fentanyl. Gotta get the Mexican kind if you want real cocaine.

[–] crozilla@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Oreo-flavored Coke Zero was diabolically delicious. I don’t know what’s in it, but the fact that they were able to artificially synthesize the flavor of Oreos without any cookie ingredients makes me scared to eat Oreo cookies ever again.

[–] mrodri89@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 month ago

Honestly im in favor of the coke.

[–] chrislowles@lemm.ee 2 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Cola Life was so good, tasted like regular coke but with stevia so the crash wasn't as bad.

[–] HEXN3T@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Is cocaine even active orally? I'm not convinced this even does anything, unless you want to quid Coca Cola

[–] dogs0n@sh.itjust.works 4 points 1 month ago

It is active orally, I believe its a lot less effective in drink form though. People rub cocaine (powder) into their gums, that's common I think.

Coke ruined the taste when they removed the cocaine imo. It's horrible now, but still worth drinking on occasion (daily).

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

It makes your gums numb if you put it in your mouth. I know this much from experience.

[–] ryedaft@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago

It was marketed as a "nasal anesthetic" at one point.

[–] phoenixz@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 month ago

Cherry coke is my unfortunate sin

[–] chemicalprophet@slrpnk.net 1 points 1 month ago

I’ll wait until then and then one more where they remove the cola. I want a coke machine that dispenses grams from all the cocaine regions. I’m talking cocaine terroir. I fucking love that smell.
