How is abolish ICE a political loser? Do most Americans like ICE?

republicans love it, and democrats are terrified of upsetting republicans in any way.

I live in Alberta and my most conservative friends are not down with ICE. I own a contracting company and used to work in camp. wtf is going on in the states?!

The article said yes, and I agree. Securing the border is one reason Trump got elected.

I mean didn’t only like 30 percent of voting age Americans vote for him though?

Trump won almost every state.

He won about 3 out of every 5 states - most of which have low populations. By percentage, he didn't surpass 50% nationwide and only won by 1.5%.

Reactionary centrists are the dumbest motherfuckers in the country. Now I know how Walter Sobchak feels: "Say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos."

Totally, man.

They should stick with centrism, like they did in 2016, 2020, and 2024. Absolutely a winning strategy. And, if they hadn't rigged their primaries, we'd have just had a President Sanders for eight years.

It took a once-in-a-century pandemic to barely eek out a win against Trump.
