The monster truck tires are 2/3rds submerged in the mud. It's just hard to make out the tires as they are completely covered with mud on top. Check out the tire on the right.
No, that's the frame sticking down and touching the water. You can kind of see the tops of the tires above the "mud". It's basically monster truck sized.
Your all wrong the background is fake it either a painting or a drawing of some kind. I have no clue what going on with background except this pic been photoshop.
