So your stance is "genocide is bad so people shouldn't say that Israel is committing genocide"?

I'm sure after all that you have a honest point and that you didn't post something aimed at causing conflict, especially with your generalisations and complaining about lemmy as a whole to mean "people who don't agree with me"

I have yet to see someone talking about how "lemmy is always wrong" on lemmy, that doesn't have a shitty attitude aimed at just causing chaos.

Wasn't worth the wait. I have yet to meet someone pro Israeli genocide who doesn't think the history of the region starts at the last time they can remember a Muslim doing something wrong.

Not really... Iran and Houthis do bad things, so does Hamas, but we don't look at the little baby trees when we see the conflict, we look at the monstrous forest of horrendous shit Israel has done, and continues to do. Iran is not an ethnostate, Israel is. Your hive mind barbaric Muslim neighbors argument falls well short and you look like a concern troll. If you knew enough to be antigenocide here then you'd also well understand why the Israeli ethnostate should be dissolved and those there should be given equal rights for once in their lives.

You are aware that muslim citizens of Israel (which do exist and make up 14% of the population) do have exactly the same rights as every other citizen? And yes, we do look at the "little baby trees" because they ar not in fact little baby trees. Iran has done far worse than anything Israel has ever done. Or have you already forgotten about what happened to all the protests against the Iranian leadership and who brought the Taliban back to power in Afghanistan?

All it takes is Google search to see they do not have exactly the same rights, and you are entirely unconvincing of your opposition to genocide when you deny apartheid. Iran's actions being worse than Israeli actions immediately harkens back to my original point, which is that I've never talked to a progenocider that didn't think history began at the last time they remember a Muslim doing something bad. Answering bad faith with good faith is a gift, you're welcome.

My favorite was seeing the comments and memes today about Iran still being bad because they execute gays, while ignoring that Palestine also kills gays. Israel too.

OMG all these "I'm not voting for the lesser evil" dumbass are in fact in favor of the lesser evil. Guess Muslims killing gays is okay.
