Lindell yelled, swore, called lawyers names, banged his fist on a table and repeatedly slammed down a pile of legal documents during a March deposition he gave defending himself in a defamation lawsuit.

This guy could've so easily just been the cheesy, Christian, ex-cocaine-addict TV pillow salesman. But no lol.

I don't think he was ever "ex-" based on that deposition.

Maybe that explains why he had transcend the cheese. 🧀

"If you have the facts on your side, pound the facts; if you have the law on your side, pound the law; if you have neither the facts nor the law, pound the table."

What if I have my sister on my side?

Get the folgers brewing

“How do you guys sleep at night?” Lindell asked the lawyers questioning him. “You obviously don’t have a MyPillow. That’s a fact.”

Statements like that really make you see the similarities between him and Trump... he's always selling and always the victim

[-] thefartographer@lemm.ee 1 points 1 year ago

Dude has some strong Samantha James vibes

I mean it's obvious with the way he endorsed trump that he is also a giant man baby just like trump. Funny how every single person that promotes trump is also just a massive stinking pile of human garbage.

This man is an embarrassment to our state. Can't wait for him to go away with the rest of those seditionists

That’s some funny shit

“repeatedly slammed down a pile of legal documents during a March deposition”

If at first you don’t succeed… slam and slam again.

“At one point during his deposition, Lindell left to go on Steve Bannon’s podcast, where he promoted MyPillow, offering deep discounts to celebrate the company’s 20-year anniversary.”

Yeah, sure, that’s why he’s offering deep discounts.

I was unaware that you could just, you know, walk out of a deposition.

[-] mateomaui@reddthat.com 2 points 1 year ago

yeah that's new to me too, although it looks like it's not without repercussions

[-] some_guy@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

Yeah it’s under section 9 on the back of your white privilege card.

I mean when your product has been around for so long that you can buy a much cheaper and higher quality knockoff (which I accidentally did, and it sucks - so stiff! But “this is so much better than mypillow”)… and you make a giant ass of yourself…. And the sales are really just funding your legal defense….

Discount warranted. Needed, even.

Guy has my thoughts and prayers.

Ya love to see it

[-] massive_bereavement@kbin.social 6 points 1 year ago

Can't Seth Meyers just get a waiver? I mean this definitely deserves one.

[-] FfaerieOxide@kbin.social 4 points 1 year ago

That guy used to always hawk how his pillows were "Made in The U.S.A.!"

...that means prison labor, right?

IIRC, no, apparently they were made in Edina MN or one of the other Minneapolis suburbs and it wasn't a terrible place to work from what I had heard.

[-] FMT99@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Eric Coomer you say

Sad to see the radical leftist media persecuting this national treasure and inventor.
