This is a community for discussion, news, and memes pertaining to the video game sub-genre "soulslike".
Given Lemmy's size, the definition of soulslike may be treated relatively loosely. While games like the numerous FromSoft titles, the recent Star Wars Jedi games, Lies of P, Nioh and similar games should be the focus, games that incorporate soulslike elements - like Hollow Knight and Blasphemous, for example - may also be discussed here.

Isn't that guy Gwynn's son? I can't remember his proper name, but even if I could be doesn't use it anymore due to all the dragon murder associated with his father.
Yeah wasn't there also another lord soul holder? I guess they couldn't be that important if they're so easily forgotten.
Gwynsen, funnily enough. Even if he could also be Faraam, I wouldn't object to the same character having different names, specially since he was stripped of his inheritance, right? Some are saying Grynn now since he appears in Nightreign, but linked lore or not, as all the games take place at times when events of the prior were already legends or myths, you can't rule out FS playing with how names and stories morph over time. I do find his ties with Sen's Fortress more appealing though.
