Best I can do is a damp cave in Glasgow, a recording of thunder sounds playing on repeat, a used paperback of "Murder on the Orient Express", a microwaveable cup of tea, a second-hand IKEA chair, a confused pigeon that wandered in, and yesterday's stale scones.

Eh, I'd take it...
Still sounds good to me. "Murder on the Orient Express" is a great book.
Make it Edinburgh instead of Glasgow and I'm in!
That honestly still sounds fantastic.
Does he know how hard it is to keep owls?
I will not be an owl keeper myself because its too hard for me
The trick is to make your first owl an emotional support owl, so you can deal with it emotionally.
If you have the money for that lifestyle, you have the money for keeping a few owl keepers
Do you have any idea how much an owl keeper costs in this economy. You have to feed them and water them and exercise them and teach them how to hunt, and then you have to buy your own owl.
So, you want to be Enya. Don't we all.

Where do you get groceries?
From the ASDA in the back garden.
Oh, man...who doesn't?
I think you can buy a castle in Scotland for relatively cheap.
Same in France, some of them you can even get for 1 symbolic euro. But you have to do all the maintenance (by law) and do it properly with specialized artisans etc. It'll cost you millions soon enough.
And their French artisans too so it'll take forever to get them to actually turn up.
