One more day and then I am on vacation.

This is a daily post for “casual” conversation. If you want to post or talk about something non autism related this is where to do it. For example if you want to info dump about your special interest but it doesn’t fall into “autism related” then you can post it here in the comments. All other rules are still active, be respectful to each other.

Been doing some server maintenance the past few days because I've been neglecting them and everything has broken at once, so I may as well infodump on that.

The Raspberry Pi's fan got clogged up with dust and started screaming but with a new fan it is so silent now. It was averaging 57°C for the couple of days with no fan while I waited for the spare part to arrive, 52°C when the broken fan was still in use, and now down to a nice 47°C with a fresh one. My VPN on the pi stopped working as well, but it was easily fixed with PiVPN, and the arr stack on my mini PC stopped working entirely -- it seemed to be a networking issue with the containers under gluetun. But now everything's up and running again and with a bit more storage space from clearing off old docker volumes. Then I've got a pinetime watch coming this week to give me something to tinker with until the new Pebble starts shipping.

Spent several hours figuring out why some calculations with a formula won't work, with help of bots ofc cos I'm zero at math. So today i figured out that chatgpt seem to be better in math than others cos the issue was in simply changing plus to minus at one place lol. Or minus to plus I don't remember. But anyway after it worked out I just started to laugh hysterically. Cos I started losing my hyperfocus after more than 3 hours of staring into codes and formulas. k = (z1 - z2) / (s1 + s2) mod n, now I can tell I deserve my Friday strawberry Schweppes as never before

I've spent the last forever either going to medical appointments or scheduling them and it's just a nightmare.

People talk about bottom growth but nothing could have prepared me for the reality of that. It's been a wonderful suprise and nice to wake up with a hard on rather than crippling anxiety.

I just got my electric duster in the mail today. I'm amazed by how well it works. I've been going around dusting all the bookshelves and nooks and crannies. The air is full of dust, my lungs hate me, but it's so damn satisfying. I look forward to vacuuming it all up when it settles (on the floor, hopefully).
