Buggs Bunny laughing and holding the Simple Sabotage Field Manual, from a scene in which he reads from a book the words "diabolical sabotage", linked below

It can be something you came up with yourself or came across elsewhere- doesn't have to be from the manual!

iirc, this doesn't actually look.

It takes an unpractical amount of sugar to make the concrete not set, and once it sets the concrete will be stronger anyway.

[–] sad_detective_man@leminal.space 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

wow. that makes me really sad. how did you find this out?

[–] irelephant@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I read it in the comments section of it when it was posted a while ago. I also googled it to see if it works, and it turns out sugar is added to concrete intentionally a lot of the time.

[–] sad_detective_man@leminal.space 4 points 2 months ago

that is unfortunate

valve stem removal, rainbow sharpies for American flag stickers

[–] TherapyGary@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Hell yeah. I got kicked out of an "ICE defense" signal chat for bringing up valve stem removal lmao

They have little USB rechargeable screw drivers now that can go on your key chain. Just keep the right bit with the driver 👍

Whoa, cool!

[–] y0kai@anarchist.nexus 3 points 3 months ago (1 children)

ooh any good resources on the valve stem thing?

I'm curious how easy it is

Electric screw driver:

https://www.misterworker.com/en-us/hazet/valve-tool-bit/49009.html

Remove valve stem cap. Insert bit. Press rotate button. Replace cap. Walk away.

Seriously though, you can even get one of these:

Some people promote using a simple green/ brown lentil, and just jamming it in there. I've never done that, but I can promise you simple unscrew the valve stem a bit, and that will do the job, with no real damage done.

oh I didn't realize you could just unscrew the middle part. I was aware of the lentil trick, but with a metal BB instead.

ETA: with the BB, superglue it to the inside of the valve stem cover so, if they don't check, after they fill the tire and replace the stem cap it will just depress the needle again and the tire will deflate.

Yeah the valve stem is replaceable. Screws right out. You don't even need to fully remove it. Just a couple turns and it starts leaking air, much faster and a bit (its still pretty loud) quieter than if you just push it in.

If you are really in a hurry and need a more permanent solution, I would just recommend using these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/316323279030?var=0&toolid=10029&customid=364973558327772330&loc_interest_ms=&loc_physical_ms=71436

I think mine is spark plug shards and a rubber band/slingshot for breaking windows. I've been wanting to experiment with putting appropriately sized/shaped pieces in an airsoft/BB gun 👀

(I almost started this comment with "idk if this counts, but", but then I remembered that this is my own post)

[–] quediuspayu@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 3 months ago

The first time I saw the spark plug shard thing I could not believe it. That shard was so ridiculously small that the guy had trouble to throw it.

[–] otter@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 3 months ago

NYC bike messengers pocket spark plugs for a reason. ✊🏼

LOIC/HOIC. Remember when those were all up in the news? I think that fell out of favor when the FBI blackmailed Sabu and infiltrated and entrapped Anonymous, but it's due for a come-back.

it fell out of favor because it broadcasts your home ip address
