real rain lovers sign in here!!!

I still can't get over the solid 2 weeks of steady rain we had here during the covid lockdowns back in 2020; the most amazing 2 weeks of my life where I was reading in a chair on the front porch while the rain came down every day. wearing a comfy raincoat every day. hell yeah.

need to move to Washington oooaaaaaaauhhh

I can't remember if it was 2020 or 2021 where I am, but we had a summer that was essentially just one endless thunderstorm. It fucking ruled.

hell yeah brother

I want to live in some kind of fantastical environment where it rains constantly and the temperature never goes below 50F or above 72F, and the only thing that changes beyond that is the intensity of the rain

in fact my next game is almost definitely going to be set in such an environment

before climate change that was like the NorCal/Oregon coast.

That would be the best place in the world to live. Get some perpetual light thunder going on in the distance too mmmm

showers likely

gamer neets in shambles

We're getting a lot of rain near where I live too. My house is right by a creek that only flows half the year - we haven't quite gotten enough water for it to start flowing again, but its damp and all the grass is alive and I can tell it's super close.

Don’t worry, they’re working on it I’m sure.

Little over an hour away - 2:20pm EDT today is when the equinox officially occurs

Every time it rains in the high desert, even if I have to bike commute in it, I'm so thankful that I feel like a Dune character. I yearn for the Pacific Northwest's endless forecast of this. So much water that I don't know how to manage it.

Deeply envious of this. Back in the 90s this week.

Right now it's cold in the morning but hot by early afternoon so I need to dress for both.

Still sweaty during the day but prime sleeping weather during the night
