Mosquitos during the summer.
In the summertime I kill everything that could be a mosquito, ask questions later. 🥴
If you ever had a bedbugs infection, you are traumatized for life. Any movement immediately triggers you and you can't relax until you looked everywhere and found no bedbugs.
So far I’ve been lucky, but I try my damndest to never think or imagine it. 😣

I think it’s original purpose was to keep us warm, but with the advent of clothing it became more of a irritant.
Now, I would give anything for it to fall out lol, I feel like Zangief.
It is actually useful for detecting bugs crawling on your skin. Having them bump into hairs is way more effective than just giving them a free, smooth pass. Sure, we get lots of false positives, but in an evolutionary context where bug bites, venom, and diseases are significantly more dangerous, 100 false positives are worth avoiding the 1 false negative.
Fair point, though it still leaves me extra hot in the summer time. 🥵

Amen, I shaved it for a while but eventually it became to much work. Now my nephews call me gorilla.
Helps detect mosquitos too though, they never have a chance to bite me before getting crushed.
I shaved my beard during the first lockdown to see how it looks (awful) and feeling the air on my hairless face was downright disturbing. Never again.

Yeah it can be quite disturbing / awful to see oneself with a babyface. Some can wear it others dont, same with different beard styles.
What about skin that feels like an eggshell? Still cis?
