And sadly there's a vast majority of European viewers of the ESC that are totally fine with Israel's actions. After all... it's over there to some brown people. Eww. Keep them away from Europe.
In the Netherlands one of the state channels organized the eurovision and did the broadcasting. They were the ones that decided on the boycott.
Now one of the other channels announced they will go the broadcast. Which is so stupid, because it completely misses the point.
Does the viewership make money or the sponsorships? Because an Israeli owned company is the top sponsor.

That's the real answer, it's a fucking music contest, if that's too important for countries to boycott over this, then fuck those countries for their implicit support of ongoing genocide

Read the article. They didn't vote on Israel paricipation. They only voted on new rules to prevent televote stuffing.
