"American democracy is on a steep slide towards cruel authoritarianism"

*Trump dumps a barrel of lube on the slide*

Intersex folks are also affected, and women.

I presume you mean cis women?

The very point of the removal of protection is as an attack on trans women. So unless you were suggesting an impact on cis women too, I don't understand why you would add "and women" when they were already at the centre of the discussion.

Your current wording implies that the term trans folk does not include women.

Nope. The same bigotry perpetrated by “trans investigators” done by Nazis will be used as an excuse to abuse people who they declare women that need to be “investigated.” This will affect cis women like it already has.

This is full war on women and intersex people.
Everyone should be armed and ready to fight physically against these rapists.

The wording is important.

The conversation was about trans women already. If your point is that it impacts not only trans women, but all women, then say that! Don't frame it as if women and trans people are non overlapping groups.

And intersex people!

No: 51% of the population is at risk. We should arm ourselves and end these fascists once and for all.

OK so basically he's given the green light for the prison service to v-card transpeople.

It's where the prison guards give trans prisoners to other prisoners to rape.

Sorry I asked. Well, thanks for telling me though, I guess.

Welcome to trans-womanhood: all the dangers of being a woman with none of the legal or social protections.

[–] Pat_Riot@lemmy.today 1 points 2 months ago

Sounds awful. I sincerely hope things improve for y'all at some point.
