This post is a little broken for me. I can't copy or click on the link (on mobile, in voyager) because it's in the captain of the image, rather than in the body of the post.

Edit: the link is here of you want it: https://inv.nadeko.net/watch?v=_QdBAa6N3C8

I use Blorp. It's a really good client for Lemmy and Piefed.

Blorp dev here. Unfortunately the link being in the title isn’t fixed by using Blorp, but I can’t argue with you: Blorp is a great Lemmy and PieFed client. Maybe I’ll scan titles for links in a future update.

I visited this post in blorp, and it is pretty odd that you can't select ordinary text from the title by just starting to long press on it, as is the common action. Is this a deliberate choice?

[–] moseschrute@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Not deliberate. I’ll see if I can get that working easily

Cool, thanks for that! I'm not a regular user but just something I noticed due to this scenario. Thanks for being responsive!

I'm trying Blorp now! Thanks!

If you're on this post, click the three-dot menu at the top right on the screen in Voyager, choose "Select text" in the menu sheet that pops up, then you can select the URL.

Thank you, I just get:

nadeko.net Invidious - Checking you are not a bot

It doesn't include a link.

It sounds like it's not a problem with the post just a difference in voyager's rendering.

It doesn't incl—? I thought you wanted nadeko.net?

There's no link in Blorp either. It's just an image.

Ok I typed it out. Here is the link that OP posted: https://inv.nadeko.net/watch?v=_QdBAa6N3C8

In voyager I get that link by clicking on the picture to get the photo caption, then scrolling to the bottom

[–] victorz@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago

Oooh, that. Didn't even see that.

In Android, you can also pull the entire app up into the overview where you can switch apps, then press on the text to just copy it, in case anyone isn't aware. Very simple to copy text from images and other non selectable text using this technique. I was able to copy the link this way.

Very interesting video. I'm glad I choose Tuta Mail a year ago, even though I haven't found a use for it yet. Just feels good to support them. I had a choice between Proton and Tuta, so that was a close one.
