It's almost as if the massive expansion of the means of production is good for humanity and our mode of production based on private property and market exchange inhibits that development. I wonder if anyone has written anything about this?

The means of production have been expanded in the developed world. Now is the time to re-appropriate it away from war and put it towards raising the standard of living in the post-colonial world and eco-scaping the developed world.

They’ll never admit it, but there was a shit load of communism in practice in post WW2 U.S. Because communism is what people do naturally and they always return to it when their local lords have gone broke.
