I've been listening to Jesse 'The Body' Ventura interviews and I can really listen to that man talk for hours. I may find some of the subjects he goes on about a little off-the-rails but I still love hearing his voice.

I listen to audiobooks a bit when driving and at my old job of data entry, I listened to them all day. I definitely had some favorite narrators.

If The narrator was terrible, I wouldn't be able to listen even if the story was good.

Also if the narrator was wonderful, I could listen to a pretty boring story.

Stephen Fry did the harry Potter books. Wonderful voice.

But my favorite was this guy Frank Muller.

He did the first few dark tower books by Stephen king.

He is well loved by kind fans for his work on these. He IS Roland (the main character).

He passed away before finishing all the books. (2008). He also did some of kings other stories.

Just a fantastic narrator. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Muller

There's a (now kind of old) compliment, "I could listen to her read the phone book" that applies.

I haven’t seen her since Stargate, but she’s apparently done quite a lot of work since.

Derek from Veritasium. Over the years, I have gained enormous respect for him and his channel. He tries hard to be a good person and his distinctive, excitedly calm voice soothes me when I think humanity is doomed.

Going to respond with one of my favorite singing voices and say Frank Patterson, Ireland’s golden tenor

The Brothers Gibb!

Also, there's this YT channel called "The Exploring Series" where SCPs and other fun subjects are discussed at length and I have been listening to the narrator's voice and using it as ASMR before I sleep for years now, lol.
