On the bright side, she's worth it.

Jokes on you; I already have Linger stuck in my head and have been enjoying it.

Everyone always mentions Zombie, and it's a great song, but Linger was my first Cranberries song and has always been my favorite. Maybe because it's more mellow and melancholy. RIP Dolores, one of the greats.

Linger is also my favourite, but I have a soft spot for Ode to My Family as I've grown older. That and When You're Gone. Melancholy is dangerous, if you're not careful you drown in it, as life slips through your fingers.

So sad how she died and that she died young.

Did you have to let it linger?
Did I have to
Did I have to
Did I have to pull your finger?

The bass is fun to play on that song.

I always have Ode to my Family stuck in my head. The beginning of it is just so nice to sing

“Du-dudu-du-du-dudu-du

The chirping noise she makes in the chorus interrupts it for me usually. I can get annoying songs stuck in my head but not really dissonant ones for some reason.

Thanks for that. I will be hearing it for days now.

I've never heard song lyrics correctly. When this song first came out, I thought she was singing "stop it stop it stop it".
