FYI people who say shit like this know they are lying. They aren't victim's of propaganda or poor education or anything like that, they've just embraced the hyper-narcissism of fascism where they can knowingly hold totally contradictory ideas in their head because they are the ultimate individual in the world around which all reality bends. There's really no reason to sympathize or infantilize these sorts of people because they are totally aware of what they are doing and are doing it because it gives them moral license to indulge the darkest corners of their ego.
