Elon’s an attention-seeking cretin that will say or do anything to remain relevant. This is equal parts dangerous and desperate

The problem is that he's rich enough to have bought an entire social network to express himself and has the ability to influence a lot of very important situations.

Dude literally bought himself a $44B safe space

And turn off communications for Ukraine during a war operation. He's a baddie.

I find it depressing that not wanting migrants to drown, is framed as 'support for migrants' and somehow left wing.

If a suspected rapist was drowning in a pond, I'd expect the police to save them, then jail them. Leaving people to die without any right to a trial or to be heard, is simply sociopathic.

It's perfectly possible to have a hardline anti-migration policy, which doesn't involve allowing thousands of people to drown.

3 billionaires and young adult vs 300 migrants. The world was mad at us for not caring about 4 billionaires, not themselves for not caring about 300 migrants.

[-] Aidinthel@reddthat.com 1 points 11 months ago

In concept, sure, it's possible. In practice, as we see here, the sorts of people who have hardline anti-immigration opinions tend to do so because they see those migrants as being less than fully human.

Really hoping the civil rights act charges stick. It’s high time he got called out and faced real consequences.

Cooperating all over the globe while trying to keep people pitted against each other.

The AfD are neonazi scum. Musk should be sold per pound to feed the poor in eastern Europe if he's so fond of the AfD's fake rhetoric.

[-] JustZ@lemmy.world 19 points 11 months ago

Yeah he's an actual Nazi.

[-] xc2215x@lemmy.world 15 points 11 months ago

This is surprising to nobody.

Downvote Musk spam. He will say/do anything to stay in the 24 hour news cycle.

The billionaire doesn’t need your help ensuring him and his businesses stay in the headlines every day. Don't be a useful idiot.

[-] Endorkend@kbin.social 4 points 11 months ago

I'll be genuinely surprised if we ever get to see another news title about Elon that isn't "Elon does/says some unimaginably stupid/shitty thing".

[-] tvbusy@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 11 months ago

Just another way to say "that 2 million Euros should have been for me".
