I just wish this mindset was actually practiced by other leftists
there's a ton of "leftists" on lemmy to whom leftism is supporting a different northern empire than the northern empire the "right" supports
Be the change you want to see in the world.
One assumes that people are inherently valuable, the other assumes only workers are valuable.
Is many things grow out of these differences.
e.g. if people are valuable, we educate them so they can flourish. If workers are valuable we educate them so they may perform work. See the difference in philosophy and the educational systems that eventuate.
