Respect to Trump for not using AI to fix his letters. He could look like he is more capable than an 8 year old but he chooses not to

I feel like this sort of stuff is an intentional insult to the Europeans, like he's not even trying to maintain any sort of decorum. And the key part is that he knows he doesn't have to, no matter what he demands, or how crudely, the Europeans will eventually oblige.

I mean, look at his target audience. Now his supporters are rednecks making him have to simplify and dumber his language. You can search up videos of him speaking in his 30s and tell that he has the ability to speak properly.

There could be an aspect of cognitive decline there as well.

They also had people manually monitoring twitter during the Venezuela invasion, maybe this AI thing ain't all it's cracked up to be

Future generations will have to read this shit in history class.

[–] yogthos@lemmy.ml 6 points 2 weeks ago

This could become one of the most important historical documents that inaugurated the massive expansion of the US territory. 🤣

american history book creators have proved that they're really good at hiding shameful facts like these; only intellectuals, historains, and tankies will be onlyl ones aware that this happened in the future.

This reads like a Kanye West tweet.

He just admitted to the American people that for his entire first term as President, and the first year of his second, he was unable to spare a single thought for what is good and proper for the United States of America due to his obligation to think purely of Peace. What must it be like for the President, emerging from this Zen-like trance after several years, suddenly able to think about things like politics, his friends and family, and his worldly needs after perhaps decades of thinking of nothing but the all-encompassing concept of pure Peace? Does he even know he is the President? Has he ever really spoken to his children? How will he change now that he no longer thinks purely of Peace?

That's the beauty of having a cult though.

Wholly run on sentence batman.

That entire first "paragraph" is a single sentence...

[–] Nobilmantis@feddit.it 7 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

There is no way this is real, I simply refuse to believe it.

As I read it the first time, I found that satire really funny and saved it.

Now you monster come along and tell me this for real? He really did write this?

No. Nonono. Shoo! Liar! Go away!

[–] yogthos@lemmy.ml 12 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

the leader of the 'free world'

[–] Dyskolos@lemmy.zip 0 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago) (1 children)

It's so embarrasing. I can only hope Europe will not give in. But in the end we probably just lick the stupid murican's boots. Jeezs, it's not even free of spelling- and grammatical errors. It's just an insult...

[–] yogthos@lemmy.ml 6 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

We've already seen how this plays out when Trump started his trade war. The EU did a lot of blustering about being a big economic bloc, having bargaining power, etc. Then in the end Ursula dutifully flew to Scotland to sign a humiliating deal that let the US rape Europe economically. Why do you think this will be any different?

[–] Dyskolos@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I don't think it will be different. I just hope it does. Small but important differentiation. In the end I will just roll eyes again and sigh silently.

the smallest man in the world.

[–] yogthos@lemmy.ml 13 points 2 weeks ago

Not as small as the European politicians eating shit and calling him daddy.

[–] eldavi@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 weeks ago

and yet, so many leaders of the world capitulate to him.
