Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Literally what so many people have been saying. Literally all we have to do is stop fucking going to work for one fucking day, get the fuck outside, and march to the white house, march to whatever state building exists and just fucking protest. Stop traffic. Stop business. Stop EVERYTHING.

Yeah one day isn't enough. Hell they killed a man the next fucking day. Strike until demands are met.

We need more Matrix and Stoat communities!! So we all get pinged on when it is so we all mobilize at same time. Having coordination on food, housing, etc too to keep each other going as well

Don't even have to stop going to work, just make a commitment to not spend any $$ that's not 100% necessary, and do that locally as possible. Cancel subscriptions, stop buying shit, get off the big data harvesting/fascist owned platforms. 1/3 of the country did this, it would be noticed pretty damn quickly.

It can’t stop though or it won’t work.

Well, “ICE Out” to me is pretty clear, but yes it needs to be consistent and very clear what that means.

One step at time. Most people in this country have no experience with collective action, myself included.

We need food, water, housing, electricity, and more handled by trustworthy people and non-profits

We sort of had one with the government shutdown. We could have kept it shut down, and made the entire Midterm campaign a giant food and medical care drive, and showed America who really cares.

But then the shutdown hit the airports, and the big campaign donors couldn't move their operatives around the country, so the Dems folded, and got nothing. They showed America who really cares, all right - NOBODY.

These are the leaders we expect to lead us out of the MAGA darkness - the MAGA comedy act of Schmuck & Jeffries.

Well we better do something because we’re all the way in Nazi land and both parties work for Israel and the oligarchs https://www.trackaipac.com/congress

Yup never was impossible OP just getting initial organization and building that with coordination was the struggle. The more of us contributing and getting others into the movement nationwide the less work for us all to do to do it, and the more we get done. Plus stronger, more resilient, and better off we all are

Example: Who builds a skyscraper faster 1 person or 3,000 people working together with a plan?

Funny Example: I can't make sandwiches for millions of people in a day to keep people going but I can make a couple thousand!!

Just as Putini messed up with Ukraine we are making them mess up here in USA. Side note: Wish we could properly help the Iranian people right now if it wasn't for all this mess
