The Epstein island was financed by Russia through Israel. The whole thing serves the dual purpose of blackmailing people who did not want the files released and damaging non-Russian nations when it got released. Trump is a Russian asset. Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence, is a Russian asset. Russia wants more authoritarian states and less liberally democratic states in the world. I assume that Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, and anyone else that were in the files are also either direct assets or pawns for Russia. This wasn't a weird cult that sprang up from nowhere. This was a concerted politically motivated honeypot. The irony to me is that the red scare of the cold war resulted in anti-communist thought in America, and now that very same anti-communist thought is being used to help Russia! We should be having another red scare now about Russia.
I think it's likely that he was freelance, and selling his information to anyone who was buying, and that was mostly Russia and Israel, but probably lots of others, too. Probably sold the same info to multiple buyers, increasing his victim's exposure.
Epstein must have been a singularly charming, charismatic guy, to be able to pull these people in. Then, at some point, he would say "I need a moment with you alone," and he takes you into a separate room, shuts the door, and says "Remember the other night, when I hooked you up with that cute little 13 year old? Check this out..." And he shows a video of the two of you, then says "I'm going to need a favor."

I mean I think the bigger issue here is that he sent a Tesla to space when he could have become the Jesus of our times, and saved hundreds of millions of people from abject poverty and despair.

Side thought, I'd like to see the ratio of billionaires by nationality. I imagine most would be either American or Chinese, but would be interesting numbers to look at. 🤔

Elon is American granted citizenship in 2002, 24 years ago.
I make this point not for Elon, but for other naturalized citizens. Once granted citizenship you are American, that's one of the few good things I like about this country. I've lived and traveled to other countries where it doesn't matter if you became a citizen or not because the locals will always consider you not one of them.
