First weekend it hasn't rained this year. Went out in the van to see the state of the reservoirs.

Fair few litres flowing here

Forgot the location - It's El pontón de Olivia, Madrid, well it's on the border of Communidad de Madrid and Castille La Mancha

I'm in Portugal. Very relatable. It's also sunny here for the first time in forever!

I think you and I have different definitions of "pics" but holy hell that's a lot of water.

There is an option to post videos to a pics community so I thought why the fuck not?

I'll include a pic with this message just for you though

You're Welcome

Send some my way. I've had a new raft since Dec and the water levels I need to be above 1.5m haven't been above 0.7m.

We had fog here down in southern Germany. Just fog. All winter. So bloody miserable. And not enough rain by a long shot to keep the forest from dying.

[–] Blackmist@feddit.uk 1 points 3 weeks ago

Not been able to go on my chosen walking path for about a week and a half now because the path is just more river. It's not raining much, but it just never seems to stop...

I'm gonna be in Madrid for a weekend at the end of the month for the first time. Any suggestions on things we should not miss, or cool spots that we should check out?

[–] blimthepixie@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I can definitely try and help, it's best if you tell me what you're into and what area you're staying in. Dietary requirements etc

[–] ButtDrugs@lemmy.zip 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

No dietary restrictions, we love good food and wine, we'll be on our honeymoon and Madrid is one of the stops 😀. We're staying just off Gran Via. We love diving into local culture and finding hidden gems, from fancy to divey. We're big walkers and typically spend time getting lost in new cities to see what we can find.

Appreciate any insight!

If you're big walkers, we just did a nice walk near Patones.

You'll need a car though

For walks in the actual city itself there's always Casa De Campo, you can access that by either Lago, Batan or Casa De Campo metro stops
