Yep. This is a solved problem.

If it’s an iPhone and you’re in the Apple ecosystem you do have to specify device. Siri lives on my Apple TV, both Macs, my wife’s iPad, and my iPhone. So I say “hey Siri where is my iPhone?”. Even on silent it will make noise.

Reminds me of an act of pure cruelty someone once posted. He scanned some "Where's Waldo" puzzles and photoshopped Waldo out in each of them. He printed and laminated them, and gave them to the kids, IIRC at a family gathering...

I got a smartwatch a few months ago that allows me to ring my phone to find it — as long as I'm in its bluetooth range.
