Dude, my first car was a sports car. It cost $500, was 20 years old, and needed a lot of love to get working right again. I have never been wealthy. Your envy has nothing to do with what other people can afford.

Ice agents aren’t required to know Spanish anymore.
There are many english phrases they aren't required to know, too. In fact, they actively forget them:
"I'm a citizen!"
"Don't shoot!"
"Get off my property!"
"That's a child, you sick fucks!"
From what I hear, that can be dangerous. No way to tell if ICE will shoot first, not ask questions. Especially considering it's ICE, probably the furthest you can get from Mensa quality people in general right now.
people have different levels of risk tolerance
person A might have kids they need to be home to look after, and this can't risk this
person B might be have no dependents and a strong social circle, and thus can bear the risk

Life is dangerous. Protecting people from oppression is dangerous. You have to decide which is more valuable to you, your comfort or your neighbors safety.

It's slightly dangerous in that respect, let's be honest. Still good to keep in mind, though.
It's astronomically less dangerous than when DHS, ICE, and whatever they eventually morph into have moved on from "illegal immigrants" and started rounding up the minority group that YOU belong to. Oh, you don't belong to a minority group, yet? Give it time.
