I love chickadees, but I miss common grackles
I had all kinds of feeders. They were great and I loved looking at the wildlife, but they dropped a lot of seeds on the ground around the feeder. That attracted mice and the mice decided they should build homes near their food source. They decided the best place to live was inside of my cars.
They ate through the wires going to the brake lights, left seeds everywhere, got into one seat and ate the occupant detection sensor, ate 3 seat belts. I managed to fix the seat belts for ~$300 and the brake lights I spliced back together. Sensor is still shot and I'm not sure I even want to mess with disassembling the seat.
Too wholesome for a shitpost.
I tried to feed the birds and squirrels but instead the raccoons ate everything.
I hate squirrels. Raccoons, and birds are better.
I give peanuts to crows but sometimes one squirrel shows up and chases the crows away (and there are usually 5 or 6 crows there). I don't get it -- this particular murder will gang up on red-tailed hawks and chase them away but they'll just sit there looking sad at the one squirrel as he eats the peanuts.

It's hard to believe chickens once ruled the world and now are mere slaves of some monkeys with main character syndrome.
The crows know how much I love them. And they in turn love the peanuts
