Birthday dinner was underwhelming. Great place, food was quality...but left kind of hungry.
I picked the joint so can't be too mad.
Still had a blast with the family.
The hollow leg curse. Years ago a friend offered me all I could eat taco bill for my birthday for me n a mate. I'm 6'2" he's 6'5". She cut us off after two entrees and two mains. We went elsewhere afterwards for a bit more food. Next week she came into my bar where she got free beer and I cut her off after two. Payback.

Happy birthday! I also had an underwhelming food experience today, a new fancy sandwich place which I was excited to try but ended up being very mid. Hurts when itβs expensive. It happens.
Name and shame...we live in the same hood (give or take).
I was in Footscray, Crumbz Deli. I leaned today that Footscray is for viet food not sandwich deliβs.
Good to know.
And Footscray is good for African food too.
Honky good though...not so much.

One glass of low-ish alcohol lemon spritz and was inspired to play with some make-up I don't often use, so will be spending the rest of the evening in purple eye-liner, purple and blue highlighter and a dark lippy.

I have a whole spectrum of eyeliners
once I finish doing one colour a time of my blue green palette shadows I'm going to use a neutral dove grey shadow and try a different liner a day
Turns out I have an amazing lipstick I've barely touched because I never gave the proper chance. It is such a great colour for me. Good luck kn your quest - I wanted to join the eyeshadow one but I have so (too) many that within a few days I wanted to pick ones that fit fit my vibe / mood that I was still ignoring the lesser chosen ones. But, also, sometimes I just know that bright orange will fuck up my vibe.

Looks like one of the older style chargers where the back of the watch basically clips into a plate, rather than being shaped more like a typical "plug".

Thinking I'll do drag of Poison Ivy, inspired by Uma Thurmans portrayal.
It's already glamourous but I reckon I can glam it up even more. Gonna thrift and alter some clothes from Savers, and add the fake vines and roses I bought from the dollar store.
I dunno if I want to do the body suit though, maybe short-shorts onesie leotard thing, maybe a skirt, definitely knee high boots.
Gonna be this year's project, maybe I wear it to PAX or Supernova lol
Doing an informal squat challenge this month and today was my first round with weighted squats in a while. Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow. Do enjoy that a bar makes it easier to keep form but ow ow ow ow ow ow.
Ok so you inspired me to have another look at squats. One of my least favourite exercises because my knees hate me ("lift with your knees" they said, "save your back" they said). I thought, there's got to be a way to do it without trashing your knees. That led me to a short video which really helped. I did all the things that Dr said and now I can (carefully) do squats! So I did 56 very slow and careful squats, and I'm very excited to join you on your squat challenge!
I love this!!! Also, thanks for the video, that's super helpful for Boyo. Hope your legs don't ache too much today! I do them in blocks of 10 or 20 if I'm too tired or sore.

I did squats today too as well as a full workout and am quite tired now.
It's just 56 squats a day for the 56 women diagnosed with breast cancer daily. Meant to be a fund-raiser, hence the doing it informally. I've been slack with my squats lately so thought it would be a good way to get back into it. Did it with 20kgs bar today and, well, you've seen the ows.
Now I'm not looking forward to starting them again next week lol

Work has become such a busy time for me before a long weekend or holiday. Not that it's being forced on me, I've just figured out it's a good opportunity for us to have things ready agrees of time. Pump the budget a bit and I get plenty of interaction and leads
I had a dream last night that I went to the Melbourne crew party and it was lovely. @gibsonhasafluffybutt was ssuuuuper tall and @studspud was cool as, and then we all went diving/snorkeling.
Was a nice change from my normal nightmares! Thanks.
