It still kills me that they brought her on for sex appeal and she turned out to be the second best actor on the show. She completely outshined most of the cast.

@mycodesucks @Grail

Yeah, Jeri Ryan absolutely nailed the role and made Seven one of my favorite characters. How can you not love her?

Resistance (to her acting skills) is futile.

I'm surprised his back didn't break from carrying that entire show for three seasons.

So in my town there was a billboard with a voyager ad that featured Jeri. They added extra board hanging off the side of the billboard to fit her boobs. Like they could have scaled down or moved her over but they knew what they were doing.

I remember her ex-husband lost some political run (in part) because it came out that he took her to sex dungeons basically against her will.

“Some political run” against a then-unknown Barack Obama.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS???

Without her (and her apparent violation of Star Trek's Prime Directive, the law against meddling in the internal affairs of other civilizations), he might still be a little-known state senator toiling away in Springfield, Illinois.

Blame the victim and throw in a little joke that further blames the victim??? Sometimes I look at how far we have to go and forget how far we've come. But still, fuck that shit.

There is a reason Entertainment Weekly’s abbreviation is ‘ew’.

How is that victim blaming?

They just said that her divorce made it easier for Obama. How does that blame the victim?

Also how does the joke blame the victim?

Adding sex appeal to a brand new show:

I don't understand why Babylon 5 would feel the need to add sex appeal to the show. They already had the pak'ma'ra!

So many bad actors and yet B5 was a great watch. Minus that last season.

I don't know why Hollywood doesn't tap more stage actors.

I did some minimal acting in college, just Acting 101 as an elective, and I could probably do a better job than about 30% of TV actors with just what I learned in that class.

Seriously, just study Uta Hagen's Respect for Acting and maybe join a community theatre for a play or two.

Yeah, Marcus is great. He talks clearly and with rhythm, he's a delight to watch. In any scene you can tell he's got the stage training and it's paying off.

Both captains and Delenn were so awful. Even so.
