MODERATORS
I never understood how these shows fail to properly vet their cast.
So it's kinda even worse when you read into it. She is a star of Hulu (part of Disney) Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and was picked due to her fame on that show.
They knew about the assault charges, but either didn't care or didn't know that there were recordings of the incident. TMZ somehow got their hands on a video of the incident and leaked it. The real damning element of the video though is she seems to hit one of her children while throwing a chair at her husband.
I'm assuming this was a different dv incident then the one they aired on TV in season one. Who could have possibly foreseen this happening.
