It really does sound familiar, lol. I think i need a way of not knowing when my appointments are because i'll spend more time resting/watching the clock when there's an appointment coming up (no sense of time keeping)

And still somehow end up running late for it?

this is one of those posts that make me wonder if I have it.

Yeah, it's amazing how even bodily functions get pushed aside when engaging in special interests but other tasks seem insurmountable

and this is miserable tbh. back then in school, I could just finish a task anytime at bare minimum, low effort but original & I can explain in details.

But now I'm doing stuff for money, I really want to complete my job properly which I have the skill & knowledge, just can't get it there even if I force myself to sit. I've also been procastinating to get diagnosed for 2 years, mostly because don't really know how to navigate the beaurocracy in my country.

Which country? And it sounds like you surely should. Maybe even pay yourself if you could?

Learning how to (sometimes) overcome this has lead to things like baking cookies at 2am because I noticed the half a carrot I had was starting to go bad but I happen to have all the ingredients to make carrot cake cookies. Just do it, it's no big deal.

Just make sure you have everything you need before starting a job you must finish or you lose access to something important (eg fixing your only toilet).

Well yeah, the former is something I can't help without prescription stimulants. The latter is a learned response to the number of times 10 minutes has turned into a few hours, a clean home, and I could've sworn I had something else I needed to do today

This but with Continental philosophy and Abrahamic tradition. 🤷😅

Can't do chores right now, learning the history of steam locomotives and how they work is totally more important.
