Clearly staged by luring the cat in with bubble wrap. Just the MSM manufacturing consent for cats to leave their natural, detached, cardboard homes and settle for these soulless, government-controlled, socialist Khrushchevkas.

The cat uses the bubble wrap. The other thing just happens to be there. And they call themselves journalists?

My cat uses her cat bed, but only if I put a worn T-Shirt in it. It has to smell like me.
Otherwise she'll snuggle up in bed with me instead.
(I haven't put a worn T-Shirt in her cat bed in years. )

if you are buying stuff for your cat that isn't cardboard boxes, ping pong balls, crumpled paper and laser pointers, you are not doing it correctly.

scratch posts are a grey area.

Big hit with my feline friends, extremely inexpensive

Mine loves those too, I once bought extra because they obvious get lost somewhere, and a woman that was looking for cat toys saw it and said that yes they love those, so it does seem to be a hit.

Amazon branded cat trap

Well, the cat clearly only has one brain cell, and thought if a container had bubble wrap, it must be a box.

The last cat I had, as a teenager, we were given her little bed hut when we received her. We had an information booklet about the cat and it feature a picture of her in the bed-hut (looks like pic above) but with her three kittens. Unfortunately she stopped using it after a while and i think my parents couldn't figure iut how to clean it effectively anyway, so the bed went away. Could chalk this up to it seeming "too big" without her children in [ ;( ] but I'm pretty sure it just wasn't that comfy for her/bored of it.

Further lore: The cat (lets call her toots for anonymity) came from a house with a lot of other pets, so maybe moving out of the hut was more a celebration of having more space to herself. She loved to climb everywhere and sleep everywhere, even preferring the hard floor to her (eventually) very hairy bed

Her hut, it got really hairy with the fur she would shed but it was too big to put in a washing machine. If we got her nowadays i would give a crack at cleaning it myself, but nobody could be bothered then.

'Toots' did sleep on my bed a lot eventually. I was actually scared of her at first, though, because "toots" was a fighting cat.

I guess the meme would work better if it wasn't a cat hideaway sort of thing or cat tree or whatever. Cats often use the shit out of those. On the other hand, if it's just a cat bed....
